IMA Lucknow and its Women Doctor’s Wing organized a public awareness program on the occasion of World Population Day” on 11th July 2023. The program was supported by Marwari Yuva Munch.
The program was headed by IMA President Dr. J.D Rawat, Ima Secretary Dr. Sanjay Saxena, Women Doctor’s wing chairperson Dr. Rukhsana Khan, and Women Doctor Wing’s Secretary Dr. Neerja Singh.
Topics were as follows
- Role of males in contraception – speaker Dr Wariza Seth
- Panel Discussion was moderated by Dr Apeksha Vishnoi. Experts were Dr. Manju Shukla, Dr. Rukhsana Khan, Dr. Ravi Anand, Dr. Shikha Srivastava and Dr Ritu Saxena.
- Small skit on population control awareness was organized by nursing students of the Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Anita Singh.
More than 70 persons participated in the program with great enthusiasm.
